I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any kind of scale that measured the % amount of ascorbic acid found in fruit??

That is a good question. I wish I had an answer for it. One thing that may be of interest to you is I have recently been made aware of some reports that grapefruit isn't good with creatine. It's acid is too strong, so if you take creatine very close to the time you're eating grapefruit, not a good idea. Let some time go by then eat your grapefruit or vise versa. I have no proof of this, but precaution may at least be in order.

Grapefruit blocks the absorbtion of alot of meds and supps. I really don't know the reason. Some people I know that are on certain meds cannot take them with grapefruit juice, maybe it blocks creatine as well. So bb1fit that report is probably right.

Yes I got it. Here you got the numbers for an orange but you can type in whatever sort of fruit (or food): http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/cgi-bin/list_nut.pl
