I signed up for ft today and it looks like exactly what I was searching for. I have had a personal trianer for 6 weeks but next week I am on my own. I went through the nutritional tracker and program on the site and am a litle concerned. My trainer has me on 1065 calories a day, ft says I should have 2171. 6 weeks ago I started at 1965 and wasn't loosing weight, 4 weeks ago my trainer dropped me down to 1365 with still no results. 2 weeks ago he dropped me to 1065 and I am finally loosing weight. I have been going to the gym twice a day, 6 days a week and am doing cardio and weights. I am concerned that if I raise my calorie intake to the 2171 ft suggests that I will gain. Any advice????

I don't mean to criticize the nutritional section of this site. But if you go to fitday.com it is free after you register, they have a fabulous program that tracks all your
food intake braks down percentages of fat protein and carbs as well as vitamins minerals calcium etc. I have found this very helpful as when you are watching calories you often don't get you dialy compliments of important things like folate and calcium. It even has a feature that allows you to create you own foods if they are not listed. This is where I added my vitamins and tofu and other speciality foods.

I have also found that to lose weight my calories had to be lower thancalculation suggested. Be careful not to drop too low and slow the metabolic rate right down.

Good Luck
