hey everyone im 17 about 5'9 to 5'11 in height not to sure and weigh around 141 im a begginner i recently baught free weights at home and i was just wondering what are the best excersizes to do at home to get bigger in size and muscle and what are the best types of foods to eat to also help gain muscle? ..is it possible to get toned while doing this at the same time or is it best to first gain size and muscle and then work on toning the body after?

!) Sign up for an at-home exercise program here 'exercise program' at the top of the screen- you can enter the type of equipment you have and your goals and it will generate a plan for you. there is an exercise encyclopedia under 'fitness resources' that shows how to do the exercises.

2) Toning is just the muscles getting fuller/bigger and tighter. If you gain muscle, without gaining fat you will look more 'toned. I would focus on mass gain and eat clean.

3) Eat the foods on the grocery list for healthy eating in the nutrition forum. When you are trying to add size you want a slight caloric increase.
