What effect, if any, does this device have on the food prepared on it? I use it as a matter of convenience, but would like to know if it has any nutritional effect. Thank you.

I sure hope not! We use ours all the time. Cooks the food well, very little time, and most of the fat out too. This with the fat is the only "effect" on food I know of. I have not seen any downside to it. Even cleanup is a snap.

As far as genetics go, the skies the limit. You are limited only by your mental perception of it.

bbfit,

That is what I meant. My question should have been how much is the fat reduced when using the grill?

Thanks

I found that fat is significantly reduced by using the vs. cooking meats in the fat. When you cook in the fat it can be re-absorbed by the meat.
