i want to get lean; if this means that i'll weigh less, then that's great but not necessary? the reason i say this is because i've heard that muscle weighs more than fat, so if i can get lean but still weigh the same, then that' ok...as long as i get lean and look more defined and get rid of the flab around the cheeks/neck area and midsection area...
what do i eat and what type of exercises do i do?
i'm a total novice, never worked out before...any answers would be great!! thanks !!!
Typically some weight loss will accompany leaness. It is difficult to get leaner by gaining. This is primarily due to fat gain normally accompanies muscle gain, and as some point, is higher than muscle gain.
