A year and a half ago I weighted 270 as of yesterday I weighted in at 217. I am very happy with the progress I have made, it has been slow and steady the whole way. I feel I have about 20 more lbs. of fat to loss before I start looking really good. In the mean time I would like to bulk up. I just started taking Release and try to consume 250 grams of protein a day (two protein shakes a day). I also started L-glutamine this week. I have two weeks left on the toning and def. program and after that will go to the muscle mass program. And I currently do cardio 5x a week for 30 min. Is there any thing else I should be doing such as suppliments and diet? And what do you think about the cardio. To much.

ps long time lurker this is my first post hope i get some feed back.

What you are trying to do will be near impossible. To bulk up you have to create a caloric surplus. To lose body fat you must create a caloric deficit. See the problem. When bulking you WILL gain some bodyfat. It's a fact. During the bulking phase about the best you can hope for is to create a diet that keeps body fat to a minimum while providing enough nutrients to build muscle. Conversely, on a cutting phase about the best you can hope for is to preserve lean muscle. Personally, I tried to lose most of my body fat as that was my goal. Then when I got it down I started adding calories to try to gain mass. Sounds like you are losing pretty good so to continue dropping bf, your cardio looks fine. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear. But sounds like excellent progress.

you have made great progress! if you stilll ahve 20 lbs to lose, sty focused on that, then go into a mass gain phase.
