I hope someone out there can help me out. I used to take glutamine powder but it is pretty expensive. I decided to start taking the tablets because of the price. The tablets are 500mg and directions say to only take one tablet per day. Is that enough? Should I be taking more than one? And are the pills ok to take vs. the powder. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

500mg sounds pretty pointless. I'm curious, though: the price of pills is better? I was under the impression they were a lot more expensive.

I get the 500 mg at walmart for $2.84 and take four or five a day usually. Can't remember brand or quantity.

I bought a bottle of 100 tablets for $9.00. Is powder the cheaper way to go? I guess I remember when I was taking the powder that it went very fast. I may be way off base here that is why I asked. Thanks for the feedback.

That sounds about normal for pills. You can get powder for about 3-5 cents a gram. Even EAS, which is typically expensive.

Powder may be the cheaper way to go...You may want to up your intake to at least 5-10g. per day. Good luck.
