is glutamine and L-glutamine the same thing or both serve different uses? I notice most of you seem to use glutamine which I understand its use, but what is L-glutamine? I have notice that name on lables all over too. I seen one supp that had a combination of glutamine and L-glutamine so I am assuming they are different in their own ways. Should I take both if I am wanting a glutamine supp or just one. Thanks

Same thing. L is the form that is useable to us. Just as you notice amino acids are always L-....this is the form the body can use(L glutamine is an amino also by the way, thus the L). There are also R, but this is no good to us and why you don't see it.

There is also R-ALA as compared to S-ALA, with the R version much more absorbable.
