How do I lose my butt. I know it's not one of those major muscles that everyone talks about, but it's an area that I need to lose. I've got bad knees and as a result running long distances is very hard. Is running my only option? What are some exercises (cardio or weight) I can do to decrease?

squats are good, especially front squats, do more than 10 reps. also ride a bicycle for long distances, cycling tends to tense the knees much less than running.

All time greatest butt blaster, the leg press machine. Position your feet so high on the platform that your toes are over the edge, push with your heels and keep your back flat and straight against the back rest. Don't be afraid to keep piling on the weight, I go 8, 45lb plates on each side. Most folks underestimate their strength on this exercise. The big boyz put all the weight they can fit and then throw their training partner on top for extra lbs. so 8 plates really ain't that much. Try it for your glutes and prepare to sit on a pillow for a few days afterwards:)

Well if you are deat at losing the fat around your butt then I think you should do both cardio and weights. I also suggest you try fat loss supplements...but be careful in choosing....and be careful with the knees. uttiya
