Tried good mornings 3 days ago, still sore.....Heres a link to the proper execution for the exercise if anyone is interested. They say this exercise is better then deadlifts.....I believe it!

Be very careful doing them. Ask jnellie he is out for at least 3 months because of them. ANd Bruce Lee was almost paralyazed for life becasue of em. So be careful!

Yes,as 7707mutt says, be very careful with this exercise. A bodybuilders mentality usually goes that if some is good, then lots is better. With weights this is gernerally true, mostly for your compound exercises. For some exercises, piling on the weight is not necessary. Good mornings are one of these I believe. Just a word of caution. Execution means much more than weight on this exercise.

I cant even use extra lbs.. while performing this exercise...I only use the bar.........LOL

Correct me if I'm wrong but is this exercise not extremely similar to stiff-legged dead lifts? The only difference I see is that the bar goes above the traps instead of being held in your hands.
