hey there workingoutgirl, do you have to leave us, keeping in shape and feeling good is key for selfastem, and confidence both required for getting a job. Any way I wish you the best and hope you can find time to come back here.

I hate seeing people in this position. When you put your mind to it, it will come together. Wish I can help. Good luck and come back!

workingoutgirl, the first mistake i made was putting everything aside to just focus on finding a job. Believe me i know what you are going through! But to be honest, even getting on here a few times a week lifted my spirits so much and got me back in action again! Sempai is right, working out and keeping in shape is a major key in self esteem and building your confidence. It is hard out there right now in the career environment but you know what, it only takes an hour or less a day to walk, run, weight lift, etc. and only half an hour or less to get on freetrainers and read all the encouraging notes your friends here are placing to keep you going!
Hope to see you soon!

I understand completly Workoutgirl but I really hope yout try to stick with it and check in with us from time to time. I so enjoy your posts and you give me courage. I'm going through the same thing. Applications and phone calls in the mornings and work outs and cleaning in the evenings. Reading some of these posts ( including yours) really keeps me going even when it seems hopeless. But Whatever you decide I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you soon.

Agree with the others workingoutgirl, you need your friends and support. You'll find a job, it's inevitable. Good luck DP

Workingoutgirl... Just know your not alone... I'm searching for a decent job! Just remember to distance yourself from the search every single day. Sometimes you need to step back from it after a day of browsing and networking. Working out will not only help you stay fresh, it will maintain or enhance the creativity and self-confidence that will get you a job. But I can sympathize with the situation. Good luck and let us know when you've struck gold!
