Great to have you here on FT!

Okay, first you need to fill out a profile in order for anyone to get an idea of your goals, etc. Then utilize the great programs on nutrition and exercise that FT offers FREE! Best thing is - THEY WORK if you follow them!!

Next, remember, being healthy is a way of life, not a quick fix when you need it, so focus on a permanent lifestyle change!

Lastly, make some changes if you haven't already, exercise, eat right, get your sleep, etc.

Remember, it takes 3500 calories to make a pound and it will take that to burn it off, but you will need to do it in a healthy manner. With exercise and eating right that would be about a 1-2 pound loss per week. Do not starve yourself or skip meals, you need to find your required calories needed and stick to that, adjusting only by about 200 if you do not see results after about two weeks.

Lifting weights and alternatively doing cardio will help you burn, the more muscle you have, the more calories you will burn even while at rest!

Keep it positive!! Prom is something to look forward to and I am sure that you will look wonderful!!
