Great, easy brown rice

While at the supermarket this weekend I found success rice ready to serve whole grain brown rice. I didnt think it would be good, but when I opened it to pop it in the microwave it was moist. Just 60 seconds and it tastes great! http://www.successrice.com/success/product.cfm?prod=14001

This is great for people on the run or who need something quick and easy to accompany a meal.

Over the last few months I have learned that microwaving any food is a bad idea. Google it to find studies. Or use the fitbuddy search.

Until I had come to realise this, I too used the "on the go" rice in the micro.

I'll take my chances with the micro. With a full time job, 2 kids, husband, volunteer work AND finding time to go to the gym, we've got to figure out some timesavers somewhere! I always cook my oatmeal in the microwave in the AM. Besides, in 20 years they will tell you that water is bad for you too. ;)
