I am 15 and am 5'6 should i be lifting regularly like am doing right now or are there any exercises I should stop doing that will not stop me from grownig?????

a lot of beginners out there ask that exact question all the time...the truth is lifting doesn't effect growth in any way especially if your doing it propely...try lifting weight while setting on a bench rather than standing...also keep the weights pretty moderate (not too heavy) if you ever decide to squat or do some deadlifts...I've personally been training since I was 13...growth problems never crossed my mind back then because I was taking things easy..and so should you...remember this arnold (the oak)...trained since he was 15 and his about 6.4 not bad i guess.

I am 5'6 and weigh 145. I like staying in shape so i work out monday threw thursday but diff boddy parts.I have pretty good experience. I am not not chubby or skinny i have just a little body fat. thanks for ur help

Weightlifting will not stop growth, infact it may assist by building stronger bones. Keep on working out. Cheers
