Hi everyone i have a question. Before i had my child i was very muscular but a little thick. (5'9 170) I was very athletic and into everything! Now my baby is 5 months old and im such a stick. All my muscle went away and i weigh less than i did before i had my baby (149). I dont have alot of time but i need to know the best way the build my muscle back. I dont mind if i have to gain weight as long as its not fat! I just really dont want toget any smaller and cardio will make me lose more weight! HELP!!!!!!!!

Hi stiletto, why don't you try the FT gain lean muscle mass and the nutrition plan that goes with it. Fill out your profile and give it a shot. Congratulations on the decision to jump back in. Thats half the battle. Welcome to FT.

Charlie is right, stiletto. Start back with a lifting program and start eating a clean, healthy diet. Minimal cardio, unless you feel you need it.

Just remember to ease into a program, don't burn yourself out by going too gung-ho at the start.

Try total body 3 times a week for 6 weeks, then move to a different routine. you need re-conditioning.

One thing you have going for you is that you were muscular before, so it should be easier for you to put it back on.

Welcome to ft!
