Most of the hard bodies, the buff, and the ripped, that I see in the gyms and on the street are in their 40's or close too it. Dont compare yourself to the ones in the movies or in the magazines, thats all about money and advertising, its not reality man. Just take a look around, most young adults look out of shape, soft.

You know its funny, I just posted a message on another board about the LACK of over 40 "inspiration" (pictures) out there. I look in the magazines and see 20 somethings (which I passed many years ago). Would you care to share where all these "over 40's" fit folks are hiding?

I have to agree with that, bigbike, most of the over 40's I know are nowhere near "hardbodies". I go to some functions that I know are "classmates" or mine or close, such as the local oldies radio station yearly concert, and believe me, there are not too many "hardbodies" there!!

I think we're starting to see more ppl over 40 getting back into great shape simply because of the tremendous discipline we have and desire to live a long life when we reach this point in our lives. I'm having a great time and enjoy being around others that take care of themselves.
Have fun all. DP

Well said dp. I think more and more people are starting to think about their health. One of the few positive aspects of the media. To all out there, go for it, and best of health to all of you.
