Since the arrival of our little one 13 months ago, my wife's sex drive has been, well, almost nonexistent (its not like it was in college - wow!). I recently heard of this stuff called Avlimil and I was wondering if it worked. Has anyone here tried it?
If you're wondering what it is, here's a link to the site:

It'll come back, give it time. Having a little one is not only exhausting, but it changes your entire focus. Unless she is well into her 40's and possibly going through menopause I would steer clear of those products. Is this your first child?

Is she nursing? Prolactin can lower the sex drive in a lot of women but that should ease up as your baby eats more and more solid foods. Also fatigue can really put a damper on the sex drive, insecurity about body changes, role changes, lots of things that need reconciling. AZ is right, it just takes time.
I've never heard of Avimil but I'd be interested in hearing reviews if anyone else is tried it, or something similar.

I have heard of it, but I thought it was kind of a Viagra for "older" women, like AZ said, women who are losing their sex drive because of age or loss of hormones.

The website says its for women 25+. Her problem is Prozac (depression runs in her family). That crap kills her sex drive. She even tried switching to something different, but her body didn't quite like the other meds. Oh well.
