:dumbbell: Has any of you ever heard of The Freaky Big training program that scares the steroid people away. If so is there anything to it. I came across it while searching the web. Does any of you know about it?-------------- If you can't hang with the big dogs, go your little ass home. |

I know what i read on the advertisement. Just like every other product out there in my opinion. Plus those pictures on the site of the "success stories" look like they were taken years apart. It sounds like a gimic to me.

I thought the same thing. It looked to me like one of those crazy scams you see on t.v. I was just wondering if anybody had seen it.-------------- If you can't hang with the big dogs, go your little ass home. |

It looks like he recommends a lot of supplements, which , of course, you can buy from his website.
I ordered the program (it is a business write-off for me) and I will let you know the gist of it. So far it looks like basic bodybuilding info, with some different supplement recommendations. The megabolic core ingredients are colloidal minerals, enzymes, pro-bacteria, green mix, and his blend of protein. |

The supplements he recommends are the colloidal minerals and enzymes and such, you add them to your shakes.
I spent some time on his boards - he actually seems very involved and supportive. He is going to market his own brand of all of the supplements, according to his website. I will keep you informed as I learn more about the program. The people on his message boards seem very enthusiastic about the results they have gotten so far. |

Thanks Asimmer, can you tell if those "enthusiastic people" on his message boards newbies or expeienced in lifting.

Thanks asimmer for getting the scoop for us. I know I don't have the money to check everything out that comes across the internet, so I appreciate you looking into this for us.

man or steel I thought the same thing. I found another man claiming he has the same type products but better. I can't think of the site because it just made me laugh. I think the FT programs will work for me.-------------- If you can't hang with the big dogs, go your little ass home. |

Asimmer,
Have you looked into this anymore? I am currently using his workout plan and have been for the past 5-6 months. I feel it is an amazing program, but I just have the workouts from a friend. I do not have all the other information he gives you when you purchase the program. Mike |

Well it is a pretty intense workout with about 20-30 sets per day on each day you workout. There is a 4 day, 5 day, and 6 day program. Each program has 4 weeks of workouts. Week 1 Day 1 of the 4 day goes like this
11 sets of 11 squats 4 sets of 10-12 lunges 6 sets of 12-20 lying leg curl They are all high set high rep for the most part, I think there is one day where you do 5 reps which is the lowest, rest are around 8-12 reps. I love the program and its worked great for me so far. If you want the actual workout let me get your email and I can send you the 4 day and 5 day through the email. I copied them down in microsoft word with a few minor changes. I took out leg extensions completely and replaces them with leg press or lunges. |

Sorry, i forgot what this thread was about...
I think his volume training will get people results because it is different than what they have been doing. Vince Garonda's programs were similar. I am doing a freetrainers plan right now, but once my legs are feeling more functional I intend to start the freaky big program. i will start a thread for it when I do, if you want, so I can let you know how the results add up. I agree with a lot of McNutt's nutritional theory - we need more minerals and mutrients than we are getting from our depleted soil and dysfunctional intestinal tracts. He recommends enzymes and organic foods. I don't think i would ever take it to the level he does with being a total vegetarian. I would miss meat too much. One thing i am a little wary of is that there always seems to be another level/product to purchase - i haven't bought anything more than the basic plan - you get a nice manual and 4 cds that are interesting, amusing and motivating. Lots of basic natural bb info. Anyhow - redrider4life - let us know what type of results you get from the program. -------------- In truth, people can generally make time for what they choose to do; it is not really the time but the will that is lacking. - Sir John Lubbock |

I started it back in July 2005 at 5' 11'' and 168 lbs. In early December 2005 I weighed in at 180-185 lbs. I was supplementing with NO-Xplode, Nitrix, Cell Mass, and ON Protein. I had been using the 4 day program from late August to the beginning of December. I took a week break during finals then began lifting again with some friends during break (not this program).
When I went back to school for summer session I didn't get to the gym much between crappy gym hours and tons of work. I started up again last week with the 4 day program for 4 weeks and will be starting the 5 day program mid February. This program has a lot of leg work in it (there are a few days in the 5 day program where you need to do 25-100 reps with leg press/leg curls). My body responded extremely well to this program as far as lean muscle gains, and I have been getting small yet continuous strength gains. There hasn't been a week where I regressed or did the same exact weight for the same reps since I started lifting in July. Before when I was lifting 2 years ago I would constantly hit plateus which I have yet to come across for the time being. |
