I am an ex runner. I had to stop when e.d. took over my life. I am in recovery starting to slip when I realized my weight so I am here! I wanted to lose safely before the stuff started again. Hi! Thanks for the welcome. I am sooo excited! I am also very proud of myself. I have done the exercises. I was afraid to exercise before because I was always hungry afterwards. No more. I have also made it 1 week with only subcoming to my E.D. once! That is such an improvement! I don't know what happened but, I changed. I thought I would never want to recover. I think I may be well on my way! Just had to brag about my one small step! Yay me!~ Nat

This site has been a major source of motivation for me. I like to lift/workout. However, I don't particularly care much for cardio although I do it as part of my fitness plan, and the diet part can be difficult. I've learned to manage all of that though. It's the motivation that is the most difficult part. The desire and willingness to stay with the program when you're tired or frustrated, to follow your diet when everyone around you is eating the junk you really like. To continue in spite of that requires an incredible amount of motivation. Don't get me wrong, results motivate, no doubt about it. But I found that sharing my success and hearing about other people's success motivates as well. That is one reason that I made a decision to read the message boards every day as PART of my overall fitness plan. It really helps me to focus on my fitness. Stick with it skamp, follow the advice offered by the members here at ft, be patient and consistent and you will be wearing one of those bikini's and playing with your kids and feeling good about it to boot. Good Luck.
