Hey all! Just getting started today with the program assigned by this freakin' coooo-ooool site. I've always struggled with my weight because I'm never sure which exercises to do. I usually kill myself at the gym for a couple weeks and lose interest or injure myself. I am currently at my heaviest weight ever. My concern is that diabetes runs heavily in my family and also it's not much fun being 21 and heavy. Hard to run about with friends and such. Plus I have to dress like I'm middle aged unless I pay a ton at Lane Bryant or some such place. I'm 205lbs right now (give or take, ahem) and a size 18/20. Looking forward to seeing if I can't take off maybe 15-20 lbs this first 8 weeks session (since you lose more at the start). My overall goal (which I hope doesn't take more than a year) is to get down to about 145-150. I got down to 157 one summer then had a bad run of luck and went back to eating for comfort. So wish me luck as I do to all of you!
