My name is Carter and i've decided it's time to better myself. I used to 'not worry' about my weight, but I have to be honest. When I found myself literally slamming a Burger King 'Double Whopper' yesterday and finally tipped the scales at 250, I realized how sick that was and it was time for a change. I've really never worked out before, but hopefully I can find help and support here!

Welcome to FT. You've come to the right place. You can start by choosing a workout plan and follow it.

Hi guys
I'm new here too. My name is Pamela, 20 and from UK. I'm profoundly deaf and am proud of it :) I do use sign language to communicate but also I can speak, not perfect but I always try to. I have this special device to help me to hear and I can control it, switch it off if I'm hearing something I dislike and switch it on for others heh. My mum was so jealous she wish she can control her hearing.

If you saw my profile, yes I'm a qualified level 3 personal trainer and it might be surprising to have a personal trainer who sign up here! Basically I sign up because my weight always goes up and down and I just want it to stay! heh. There was a man who worked at my gym and he inspired me and motivated me all the time but now he left and I don't feel motivate at the moment and I don't like to train on my own and make my own programme, I usually have no idea what to do next and just made it up. I sign up because I love it when someone tell me what to do, make a programme for me and tell me to do it. That way it keep me motivate, just like the classes such as spin and body pump, but unfortunately, my working hours had changed and now I'm working through the hours body pump and spin usually on at so I can't attend to those all the time. Also I might learn some new exercises in here :) And need new food recipes, I'm getting fed up of eating same things few other days.

Anyhow, I hope you all are well and as a personal trainer, I respect all of you who joined here and want to make a change. I know it take some courage and I want to say best of lucks to all of you and hope it will be a success for you all! Best of lucks!

Love, Pamela x:big_smile:
