I am new here and I am trying to lose about 20 lbs. I am 24 but will be 25 in May. Could someone give me their opinion of when I may see some change in my body if I follow both my exercise and nutritional goals suggested to me by this site. I am trying to look half way decent this summer. Thanks everyone :-)

Hello Ariadne! Welcome to FT! It's difficult to say how fast your body will change, due to individual differences in metabolism and the like. However, from personal experience, i can tell you that once i'd stuck to my goals, after two weeks i felt loads better within myself. When you feel like that, appearance becomes a bonus!
