I really enjoy this website and have calculated my daily caloric needs along with some meals to match the requirements. I have also set up the fitness plans to help me reach my goal (firm up and lose). My question is in regards to the daily requirements; does anyone feel that the suggestions are high? Without calculating cardio into the plans it says I should be taking in 1700+ calories; is this correct? It just seems high to me. Has alot of people had success following the guidelines? The reason I am so confused/concerend is that I have been on the last 10+ lbs that I aim to lose, but it is taking FOREVER. I don't know if I am currently eating too much or too little. Any help is appreciated.:)
Welcome to the site Gwendolyn. If you would post your stats it would make it easier to help. It's a bit difficult to make a recommendation when we don't know where you're starting from. Most people have found the calorie comps on here to be on the high side but as you mentioned, it's just as easy (and with women especially) to eat too little.
I'm inserting a link to a diet thread that bb1fit posted a couple of years ago. It's one of the more informative that I've ran across and should help you out. It's a long read but worth the time and it should help your planning.
