Hello,
I appreciate this is a question that may be asked frequently but...I have currently gained about 12 pounds in weight through exercise (and am proud of it as I am one who struggles to put it on!) taking me to approximately 165 pounds, not big by any stretch, but enough for me personally.
Like a lot of people, I have trouble getting rid of the little bit of excess on my stomach, which is stopping me geting a really defined stomach and physique in general.
Is the Atkins diet a good idea?
Should my protein intake still be as high?
Do I need to stick to a really strict regime?
Can you recommend anything else?
Thankyou in advance to anyone who reads or replies.

There are several recent posts about abs and losing weight that have a lot of good advice. Mostly about diet. Good luck.

The atkins diet is ok but a little extreme and cant be sustained over long periods of time....go with high protein, medimum carbs and low fat. Keep to a consistant diet over a number of months, keep the training hard and incorporate cardio to speed things up a bit.
I have dropped 1.5 stone in the last 6 months which is down to focused training and diet.......if you desire results you gotta work hard!!
good luck...!!
