And I SO want to like it!
I tried it with pineapple and also salt and pepper. I literally gagged! It is the sourness of it and the the chunks in it. I think that maybe if I toss it in a blender with something else it may make it tolerable? Any ideas on what to mix it in? Thanks! |

I love the chunks! I always try to find the biggest chunk in the carton. I don't know what to say though. Cottage cheese is an excellent source of protein. Just get used to it lol.

I'm not a huge cottage cheese fan either, but I can eat it (1/2 c) with a little cinnamon and a packet of splenda. But I have to eat it slow!
Also, try this pancake recipe, which my husband and I love: 1 c cottage 1 c old fashioned oats 5 egg whites Put into blender & mix and cook. Makes 4 or 2 large pancakes. I usually take 1 large pancake w/ sugar free syrup for breakfast. The calories without the syrup is 247 (21g/32g/3g for protein/carbs/fat = 35%/54%/11%) |

i am guessing you want to like cottage cheese in order to eat before bed, right? correct me if i am wrong, but if this is the case and you still cant make you like cottage cheese, then dont get frustrated and instead of it, have another clen source of protein, as chicken or eggs, as well as turkey.
One more thing, have you tried it with Peanut Butter? personnaly, eating it with PB makes it the most waited meal of the day. |

But if you do the PB, don't do it before bed if your goal is to lose weight...

or pretend you're a contestant on X-Factor look at the cottage cheese and pray to god that you don't need to suck down a cocktail full of 3 kinds of hissing cockroaches. :)

I mix mine with frozen berries, which I first thaw in the mw. But I have to admit, I actually love cottage cheese, hated it as a kid, but love it now. I would suggest you find another good source of protien. I would not eat something I hated!!-------------- \"Even if you\'re on the right track, you\'ll get run over if you just sit there.\" |

I add a little vanilla flavor and some splenda, or add a little koolaid mix to it with some splenda.

like sour cream on baked potato? blend cottage cheese until smooth, add some chives you now have a high protein low fat potato topper.
