Do not raise to this calorie limit too fast. In fact, raise very slowly. You may not need that many calories, as too high a rate too fast you may be happy with what you see on the scale, but chances are most of it is fat. I am sure this is not the weight you desire. If you are at a level of calories right now that keeps you right where you are, you are very close to maintnenance. Raise about 300 calories per day, and let the gains take place. When they stop, increase again as needed.
You have no profile, I find it interesting that a female wants to gain weight. Are you weight training at all? this will greatly assist you in making sure it is lean body weight you are gaining.
Calorie dense foods are easy to find.

GNC has a great produch just for this its called "1850 Weight Gainer" it is a shake and it comes in a powder that u mix with milk or water (milk makes it taste better thoe) and it sells for 41.99 and its a 30-40 day supply and if u sign up for there gold card its a lil card u get and u show it when u buy something and u get like 15% off and with that card (with is 15 dollars but is well worth it) you get the product for $29.39 so u save $12.60 and each shake you drink is close to 1400 calories i think but u put 3 scoops in so i would sugest doing 1 scoop 3 times a day and make it fun make a shake and put a scoop in your shake theres extra calories right there. Let me know how it goes.
