Hey Kim...the way I see it, either you are dieting wrong or there is an underlying medical issue at hand. Have you seen your doctor about being unable to loose the weight? If you have and everything checked out ok, then it is surely a glitch in the way you are dieting.
Unfortunately, I can't make you stick to your diet, the commitment to loose weight has to come from within you. However, I will suggest that you log what you eat and take a good look at in on paper to see if you can find out why it is not working.
In addition, if you frequently binge, I will share with you something that helped me get away the "discouraged" ramblings through the kitchen cabinets.
Its a spin the the daily food log I mentioned before. Instead of just writing down what I was putting in my mouth, I decided that I would write down what I was feeling and doing when I got the urge to put it there.
After a while I was able to avoid my triggers and could recognize the "I'm discouraged and therefore I will cheat" moments coming before they ever really went full swing.
I hope that helps and don't give up....you'll get there!!

Hi, Kim. Like dfly said, see your doctor to see if there is any medical condition that's affecting your weight such as depression and thyroid problems.
How is your diet plan? Eating frequently in small portion is better for your health and controlling your appetite. You shouldn't be feeling guilty about eating for starters. Try to cut out junk foods from your diet. They can boost you daily caloric intake without trying and without any beneficial nutrients. You can have 10 chips or 4 cups of strawberries and they will roughly have same calories. The choice is yours. It will help you if you sit down and plan what you are going to have that day or for that week. Don't starve yourself when you plan your food list for the day (eg. 10 celery sticks for lunch), that is unrealistic to follow and even if you do it's not doing your body any good. It will only teach your body to store fat. Have a balanced list (carb, protein and fat) of foods that's healthy for you.
Also for supplements, instead of taking diet pill, take some multivitamins and flaxseed oil.
I would recommend more active exercise than yoga. Something that tells your body that you are an active person. Jogging, Cycling or walking for longer than 30 min. Do your yoga afterwards for stretching and relaxing your muscle.

Hi Kim, you need to believe in yourself 100%!!! Don't doubt and if you break the diet once then don't just let it all down, but do some extra cardio the day after and jump on the diet again.
It's good to diet with a friend. That should help you.
You girls should go out for some long walks together. Burns calories and great for the spirit and soul! :)
