I am a borderline vegetarian...I eat 3 times a day with Healthy snacks in between, I drink 1 gallon purified water a day and sometimes more. I am in the service, so I do Physical training everyday. I am 5'6'', 180lbs (female) and about 30% body fat. The most I got down in weight and fat was 150lbs,26% body fat. Now, this 5 years ago. I am currently enrolled in step class three times a week and yoga/pilates twice a week. What am I doing wrong?. The weight Is stubborn on my abs, love handles, inner thighs and buttocks. What can I do less or more of? To add the only supplements I take on and off Is Whey protein. I am taking every vitamin known to man, B-complex,B-6,B-12, CQ10, Omega 3-fatty oils, flaxseed oil, Wheat germ, chromium picolinate, Vit C (2,000mg daily) beta-cartone...the list goes on....What gives...Please help. I considered myself between intermediate/advanced in exercise

Thanks

Less cardio and more heavy weight training and eat more. that is the key!

What are you eating? And how many calories/carbs/protein/fat? Are you doing any weight training already? If you are already doing PT every day, you dont need any more aerobic or cardio type routines. You need to do some weight training. Lots of squats and lunges will help your thighs.

The problem most likely lies in your diet. I was in the service myself and can tell you that I've literally seen people get fat from their food. I would suggest logging what you eat daily and figure out how many carbs/protein/fat you are consuming.

Lift heavy, keep a food log and be honest about it.
I know it's frustrating just hang in there.

I agree with Robert on this one. My diet is terrible from eating DFACT food that I don't even like. Hey, but food some fod is better that no food. Are you sure that you are eating healthy food. At one time I htought I was and I acctually wasn't. There is a bodybuilder's grocery list floating on these boards. Take a look and add some of the foods to your diet.

It's not what we eat or drink occasionally, but what we consume on a daily basis that determines our ongoing level o health.

Thank you for all of your replies....Actually, my body works better with a High Protein, low fat,low carb diet. I eat a lot of seafood, chicken, low sodium canned vegtables...I stay away from bread, pasta, milk, cheese (because I am lactose intolerant). In response to lifting, I've tried that I got huge (muscle mass) but I have to incorporate some cardio to balance the two. I eat 5 times a day (sometimes) and in the mornings I eat really light (oatmeal or grits with no butter and protien drink). I stopped drinking coffee about 8 months ago and I drink Green tea with honey in it to get some sort of caffeine.

Any suggestions on a work out program that Freetrainers provide....
