Xenadrine, what a waste, does not work, stick with a good diet and supplement with meal replacements and protein. Take your vitimins everyday.

Hey everyone, I'm new here, I was just trying to make a few decisions regarding supplements. First off, has anyone tried Xenadrine, and if so, how was it and what doses would you recommend (since 4 a day would have me up all night long! :) ) Secondly, protein shakes...I'm looking more into toning right now and weight loss, should I just wait until I'm satisfied with my look before getting into the shakes. Thanks everyone.

Forget the Xenadrine.
Protein is essential. Use protein shakes to make up your daily protein requirements if you are having trouble getting enough in. A protein shake for sure is warranted post workout. Protein will aid you in acquiring lean muscle tissue, which will aid you in any fat loss you are striving for.

Now the thing with the protein shake I was looking at was that it was like a 40-40-20 mix or something, which includes carbs, protein, and I believe vitamins. Is that okay?

Make sure the protein's only ingredient is protein, less than 1gram of carbs and fats.

Thanks for the reply, I figured that, the stuff I was looking at was more of a mix or food replacement. I'll have to check out GNC I think. How much does protein normally cost (in Canadian? :))
