hey - there are lots of good routines on this site - try using the available ones, they have options for people who don't have equipment and people who do.
Any sport will help you lose weight if you are eating right and burning more calories than you consume.
Look through the many many many posts here with similar questions - there are lots of good answers!
Just get moving and clean up your diet!

I did a little research on a few web sites about which exercises burn the most fat and tone you up better. Stair stepper was #1 and raquetball was #2.

Also, raquetball is a BLAST! If you have that available use it. We're getting ready to move to another apartment to where they won't have it and that's kinda sad 'cause we had a blast playing.

Though spinning is not a competitive sport it is an AWESOME workout....especially if you're like me and detest group exercise! I have always hated group exercise (ok, so I never liked cardio at all, but group cardio is the worst!!!) but I LOVE SPIN!!! You get the group thing, but it's still an individual activity. Love it! Love it! Love it!
