I went to kickboxing tonight and when i got home noticed that my left foot is painful.Must be from kicking the pads.It dosent hurt when i walk but if i turn it a certain way i have pain down the side nearest my little toe n towards my heel.What do you think it is and what would be a good way to try and heal it because i go to the gym 3 times a week and do kickboxn 2 times aweek so im quite active.

I'd agree with fly Emmylou.....even though you'd probably know it if it was, you may still have a break.

Yeah, could be a small fracture, if you have a tuning fork around you could check, make the tuning fork vibrate and touch it to the painful spot, the vibration forces the fracture apart a little and will hurt a lot.
I know I have posted a self check for injury diagnosis (still see a doctor if it doesn't let up), I will look for it and bump it.

I'm not sure you can really sprain anything there, do as everyone suggested - ask a doctor. The faster you go, the faster you can get back to your workouts. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!

I went to see the dr.He wasnt much help.He just said 'oh you sprained some tendons,its nothing bad' he didnt give me anything for the pain.Also he said it will take about a week to heal.I sure hope so because it still hurts ouch and i have the gym on wednesday.Oh well will have to wait and see.Thanks guys.
