Hi everyone!

So i'm new to this website and new to this whole training thing. Long story short, I want to compete in a figure contest in a reasonable amount of time. I'm very disciplined and determined with my workouts and diet, but the problem is, I have NO idea how many calories or carbs or whatever I should be eating..Im only 20 yrs old so i know I have plenty of time, but i want to get started with developing my body so that i can compete relatively soon. I workout twice 6 days a week and once on the seventh day... i do a different major muscle group strength training each time and 30 minutes of cardio..but this is the workout that a guy bodybuilder gave me and im not sure whats right and whats wrong...i know this is really an unorganized post and confusing, but if someone could help me out and point me in the right direction of what i should be doing that would be super! *oh i guess it would help if i put my height and weight huh?... 5'5 140, pretty muscular but want to get lean

First off training twice a day for 6 day and once on 7th is overtraining.....you're breaking down muscle and giving your body no time to rebuild it....(if the guy gave you this suggestion based on his own training then he's more than likely juicing)

As a beginner I suggest you train using 3-4 days max...you can try either training your whole body 2-3 days a week using compound exercises or doing a bodypart split.....

Depending on activity level...I would guess you need around 1800-2000 calories a day....

so that breaks down to 150g of protein, 200-300g of complex carbs, and remainder of 20-30g as healthy fats....
