Alright, so I am a ectomorph. you know, the type of people that are extremly skinny, burn calories fast, and is hard to gain weight and endurance. I've always been the skinny kid. At this point I am 5 foot 10 and 131 pounds, which is a hard weight for me to keep at. I've been reading on people that are skinny and trying to gain weight. One thing I've noticed is that every place says that I should never do cardio training, because I want to use all calories and energy on weight training. Well thats a problem for a basketball player that runs a few miles alone every game. 131 pounds, all thoguh mainly muscle, is not near enough weight for me to have to play basketball. What are some tips for me to gain some muscle alogn with gaining endurance?

There is no such thing as "hard gainer". As J-mar said, eat, eat and eat :)

you can run, you ll just have to consume more callorie than you burn

I'm kinda in the same boat as dylan. Would high calorie shakes help in between meals or is that just stupid?

It ll help but plain food is better.

Eat every 3 hours, 6 meals a day, 1 gr protein per lbs, 5 to 6 grams carbs / kg,
