Help...how do i chat?

Okay, so I've heard there's a chat room on this site, but I have yet to figure out how to get to it. I read a post that says it should say chat in the upper right hand corner of my screen, but there is not anything that says chat. Another post said that you go to the home page, click on "view online members" and then there will be a chat room. I clicked on the "view online members" & it did load the names of everyone online. Beside each name it says like send a message or invite to chat, but I want to know where do you click to get to the actual chat room? Thanks to all who help!
