Well in September i decided to renew my efforts to live a healthy lifestyle. This is my second attempt at this. In August 2004 i weighed 300 pounds. i joined a gym and started to cardio workout a couple times a week. Between then and February 2005 i had lost about 30 pounds. I was on the right track but then somewhere in feb i entered a depressed state and slowly gave up on everything. This lasted maybe a month but when i pulled out of it i was put on a very stressfull project at work and threw the fitness lifestyle out the window. In beginning of September 2005 i came off the project and realized what it had done to me. I had ballooned up to 324, no longer went to the gym and would wear out after 10 mins playing with my kids!

Even though my first attempt was a failure i learned a lot of things about myself and my body and i am determined not to make the same mistakes again. Since the beginning of September i have lost 32 pounds (first 15 flew off, rest i had to work for each pound).

My first goal is to get to 250. I dont think i've been that weight since college (12-13 years ago). but more important to me is to slowly adjust to a healthy lifestyle of good nuitrition and healthy exercise.
