hex bar pro's:
easier to grip
more weight can be used
more quad dominate
easier to recoup from
less likly to drag shins
cons:
posterior chain isn't devoloped strength wise as well
grip isn't worked as well
apples and orages honestly....I think the Hex bar is good for a break....and give the back a rest...But I wouldn't use it all the time. Cause I had a Hex bar dl in highschool over 500lbs...I just now this year broke 500 on striaght bar.....
