So I've been working out for about a month now. Just got back into after taking a year off. I'm looking to get bigger and have a six pack, haha... Like every guy right... I'm 22, 5'10 and weigh 178 lbs.. Athletic build... Any reccomendations to help me out would be greatly appreciated.

Work on one or the other first. These are two goals that are at opposite sides of the proper dieting. To gain appreciable size, you need to eat above your maintainence level and lift heavy. To get cut and eventually have a 6-pack, it takes a reduced calories diet, still with lifting and cardio. Does that make sense?

I say during the cold months get huge.. When it starts getting warm out start getting ripped.. but don't get in a big hurry doing it..
