Welcome to ft. Those are some pretty impressive goals to say the least. One thing that you have going for you is your age. At your age your metabolism is pretty fired up and is very forgiving with respect to what you eat. To gain lean mass you have to eat, and eat alot, but you need to eat right. Concentrate your lifting on the major compound lifts (squats, deadlifts, presses, etc). Good Luck

Thanks guys...yes it is true..i have set my goals pretty high but that is the only way to go! Last year i gained 35 lbs of muscle over the duration of probably 11 months. I concentrate on all the major compound lifts including squats, deadlifts, presses, and powercleans as well. I try to eat about 1.5-2 grams of good protein per pound of body weight, currently im about 190-195 and I want to get up to 215 this year while maintaining my current body fat percentage of about 8%. Have one question though...currently I am training each body part once a week except for calves and abs which I do every day, I train each day on a split like for example back in the morning and then bis in the afternoon...I just started this schedule(as opposed to the highschool weightlifting upper body one day then lower body the next)and I was wondering...is this the right approach? I probably spend an hour on each muscle group. Thanks!
