im adam a 13 year old who wants to lose weight.

im 5'5 150lbs. ive been doing 100push ups a day and it just seems to be adding more muscle is what i want but i also want to lsoe wight. well hpefully see you gusy again

Hey Adam. The best way for you to lose weight right now is through your diet and activity. Try to stay away from pop and fatty snacks like candy and chips. School sports would also be a great way to get into better shape. Ask your parents to start buying some healthier food as well. One thing I like to snack on is raw carrots. They are low in calories, and good for you. Also, if you like potatoes, try having a medium baked potato with your dinner at night. Try not to drench it in butter and cheese or sour cream. Just a little bit of salt, and a teaspoon of butter or margarine.
Doing push-ups is ok Adam, but you may just want to cut down a bit, and find something active to do outside.
