Hey there I'm new yay! I'm 19 and a college student, my freshman 15 is more like the freshman 20... so now I'm trying to get rid of it.
So here's my thing: I went from 116lbs to 136lbs in the first semester of college, it's horrid, I know. I figure, in high school I was a cheerleader, ran track, and played soccer. When I wasn't playing sports or at school was in chor or play rehersal, which left little time to eat. So now with all this free snacking time and lack of intense activity, weight gain was bound to happen. But now I want it to go away.
I've been taking ballet which really tone muscle, but doesn't do much for anything else. I am also working out at the gym for at least 45 minutes, 3 times a week, if not more. Also, I am trying to not snack all the time, and eat healthier foods then burgers and fries (typical college lunch).
So far... I've only lost 3 pounds, and no inches. Does anyone have any idea what might be happening? I checked with my doctor and got blood tests done, and I am also going off some of my medications that might be causing it, but are there any other ideas or suggestions? Does anyone have a simular problem? I think hearing I'm not the only one would make me feel better :)
Any way, sorry for the ramble, hello again! *blows kisses to all*
