Hi there! I would really love to get in shape and lose a few pounds. I have recently joined a gym, but, unfortunately I find myself lacking the motivation to get there! Once there though, I don't have a problem getting into it. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!
Thank-You!

One way to motivate yourself is to think of the success you have when you are at the gym. Some of us discussed on other boards in here, that we visualise ourselves and what we want to acomplish at the gym each time. Thats a good motivator also. We are all here to motivate you and help you out, there are alot of knowledgable people here that will help you out. Good luck

welcome whitecat, for my motivation, i look at how i am now and picture myself how i will be after!!! it's great, sometimes picking a picture of someone's body type and keeping it up as a goal that you want to reach is good as well....keep in mind, they don't have to be perfect, just a reasonable size you want to be and then when you get there, post another one of your new goal.
good luck!

Welcome whitecat, Remember that a positive outlook will take you a lot farther then a negative one. Once you see results you will not likely have motivation problems. But if you do post here i'am sure someone will get you back on track good luck
