hi guyz, i have just started out on the ft exercise program. i have been on fixed weights for the last couple of months and starting on free weights now with the aim of gaining muscle mass. my only concern is that do i do not want to be an overly huge bulky kinda guy but also want to have a good shape to my body. for this do i also have to incorporate cardio into my plan???
Vego...welcome to FT firstoff. Please fill in your profile, we can get some more info on you and better serve you. Your question would be better placed in one of the appropriate forums, like beginners or bodybuilding. Your concern about getting big and bulky is totally unfounded. Many of us only dream of that, and it doesn't happen. You actually have to work a certain way to acheive this, and that means large amounts of calories with heavy workouts. Your body type and metabolism are key factors in how much cardio you need. Hope this makes some sense in a short answer.
