Hi. I just joined the group today. I have recently made the decision to make a complete lifestyle change and I am starting at the very begining. I am so excited about reaching my goals of becoming a Certified Personal/Fitness Trainer, then eventually becoming Certified in Yoga and Pilates. I know that I have a lot of work to do physicially, as well as academically and have so much to learn along the way. So any encouragement or advice will go a long way with me. I am a very determined, disciplined, and focused individual and when I put my mind and soul into something, I do it with everything I have. I am looking forward to getting to know some of you who have similar interests and goals, as well as those of you who have been where I am today and have already reached those goals.

Thanks. I'm really excited about this. I did my first ft training workout this morning. It was tougher than I expected, with the push ups and the dips behind the back. I gues I really need to work on my chest and tricep muscles. Hope I do a little better on Wednesday. Should I be stretching certain muscles prior to my workouts?

Hey thanks! From one shorty to another, lets just keep pushing forward with our goals always in sight. Are you also doing an 8 wk or 12 wk workout plan with freetrainers? If so, hows it going for you? I just started my first workout today. I bet I'm sore tomorrow!

Definitely :o)
My experience with the workout plans on FT have been extremely positive..
Yes, you'll be sore tomorrow...and the day after...and the day after....<smile> After a while, the pain will subside more quickly....
Absolutely worth it...
Just post any question you might have - someone here is always willing to offer friendly advice...

Thanks Stan! Looks like you have been working hard. Keep it up! Everyone's pics are pretty motivating. I have to admit, it's nice to have a place like this to help me with my goals and to keep me on track, and the ft community seems very supportive. Good luck with your goals, too!
