When you fill out your personal information (present weight, age, activity level, metabolism estimate, goals, etc.) the nutriton program will give you some guidelines to follow. This includes daily requirements such as protein, carbs, fat. They will be listed as grams. From those guidelines you develop your eating plan. You get to choose the foods. There is a resource which gives you examples of the types of foods to choose from and there is also a data base where you can search out foods and nutrient contents. It will take some time but it is worth it. Take your totals and divide by 5-6 and you will have your requirements for the day as you should eat every 3 hours or so in order to fire up your metabolism. Go slowly, make small changes to your current diet- replace 'bad' choices for 'good' ones. Also search the message boards-tons of info there. Good Luck.
