Hi. I am 49 and live in Montreal Canada by way of Atlanta GA. Talk about culture shock. I have been here for 11 years. I lost 25 lbs 3 years ago and work out 4 times a week with weights and cardio. This site is great and hope to make new cyber friends here. rickyshot@usa.net

Thanks. Love the sax. What kind of music you play. We have a huge jazz festival yearly here in Montreal. You would not believe it. I bet you would enjoy it.

I'm a huge Manhattan Transfer buff - Jazzy/Bee Bop sound with really tight harmonies. I love all jazz, though, and I appreciate most every style of music.

I'm in a Rock n' Roll band (when I'm not at my day job). We do lots of original stuff. Nine guys in our 40s having a blast. We do it for the love of the music, though, not for any financial gain. All our profits from shows, CD sales, etc. are used to support local charities - mostly childrens' charities. Maybe I could talk the guys into crashing the Montreal Jazz show and give 'em some head bangin' Rock and Roll as a change of pace!

Welcome to FT rickyshot....I lived in Savannah, GA for a short period of time but have only visited Canada (and not really long enough to see anything spectacular)...Next time I visit I'll have to hit everyone on FT up for suggestions on where to go <smile>
Hope you meet your goals...many friendly people on this site.
