High Intensity Interval Training
A method used to increase one's distance and speed (endurance)during a cardio session.
Some who train will do cardio for 30 minutes by warming up staying at the same heart rate then cooling down towards the end of the session.
With HIIT, one would warm up, bring the heart rate up keep it for whatever time they need,then slow it down to almost warm up rate then go up again and repeat for the whole duration. Everyone's time is different.
