Well, you can have sign up for a freetrainers fat loss & toning program and also start doing cardio 3-4 times a week (try to work your way up to at least 30 minutes). Make sure when you're working with weights that you get in 1 g of protein per lb of bodyweight. Any specific questions, just ask! Good luck!

Welcome to Ft annamaria: You have come to the right place to get rid of that spare tire, and to improve your health. Start as Lumina has suggested and once you are into a program and have questions fire away. Good luck.

Hi marshwriggle, and welcome. Cardio is short for cardiovascular exercise. Any activity that brings our heart rate up is known as cardio, running, jogging, stationary bike stepper, swimming, treadmills, etc.For protien, you can get that from tofu, lentills, certain beans, soy products, there is a protien powder that is strictly soy. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
-------------- The trouble with jogging is that, by the time you realize you are not in shape for it, it is too far to walk back! Franklin P. Jones
