I was wondering what you do when you are out and about with family and friends on a certain occasion. To make things less awkward, do you eat the unhealthy white bread, trans fat filled foods, and sugary desserts?
Is it alright to eat unhealthy once in a great while?
I go to my mum's for tea about once a month and eat a huge meal with cheese course and pudding and chocolates with coffee etc. I think it helps stop cravings if you get to eat what you want once in a while. Depends how often you eat out and how strict your goals are.
I have this same problem with going to weekend functions where they serve hotdogs and hamburgers. I basically eat before I get there, and if I do eat there, it's the side stuff that would usually go on the burger. These make a great salad. I know it's kinda ridiculous, but I don't want to blow my diet just to fit in with the other folks, that are 9/10 overweight. Just my opinion though.
