I am currently mixing a half cup of frozen strawberrys, 40 grams of fructose and 45 grams of whey protien.. but it tastes horrible! Too sweet!! Does anyone have any good recipes for a high-carb high-protien drink??

This one is more natural (no protein powders):

1/2 cup cranberry juice
1 cup unsweetened frozen strawberries
1/2 banana
1 cup eggbeaters (or similar)
1 cup vanilla soy milk (you can substitute with reg. milk)
Optional: 1 cup ice

Blend for 1 minute. Makes about 30 oz. Contains 30 grams soy and egg protein (about 370 calories). This is my post-workout drink.

Gaining drink...

1/2 cup raw oats
2 tbsp. natural peanut butter
1-2 scoops whey protein
2 tbsp. heavy cream
Enough fluid to make a shake

Blend ingredients together in blender...great gainer, good calories and you know what is in it.

Also, try this thread. There are some great shake ideas on it:
