Hello everyone. I stumbled accross this site after I was searching for programs to lose weight. I am 23 years old, 5`7 and 66kg. I played college basketball for four years and have officially stopped for 17 months, and as a result my body has lost its tonedness, and my tummy has gained! Although i am slightly active (I say slightly as compared to my training required in college), I also enjoy food. Will the amount that I eat really make a difference in the results I will get? (I found it hard to match what I eat with what is found in the matcher thing on this site) I hope the program I've chosen will fit in well with my routine as well as with the hearty meals I tend to enjoy and that this site will work!

Themis, welocme to the site. It may be hard to match up the diet and your current habits, but if you want this to work, you'll have to find a way. Read up on the sticky threads and you'll find alot of useful info and advice!

the gains and loses are made in the kitchen as bb1fit always says its simple eat less calories then you use you will lose.

Due to my previous experience in training for basketball I do recall the protein/lipid/carb ratio, however, it's a lot less practical without my trainer around! If I remember well, basically focus on intaking my protein several times a day especially on days I work out, and eat lots of fruits and veggies. My biggest temptation is sugar as I've always loved candy (and the sweets in Europe are amazing!it's hard to pass up when I know I'll be gone before I know it!)

Bizou, yes this site does that. Go to training program and you can customize what you want. It will make up a program depending on what you pick, show you which exercises to do, how many and how often!
